Roman Sledziejowski, a Polish-born American entrepreneur, is currently the Vice Chairman of Savant Strategies, a global management consulting firm. He began his career at the age of 17 in New York City, joining Salomon Smith Barney, a division of Travelers Group. While finishing his final year of high school, he worked part-time at the investment bank, gaining valuable early experience in the financial industry.
As the valedictorian of his class, he went on to study Economics at Columbia University. During high school, he demonstrated outstanding athletic talent, captaining the varsity soccer team as a striker and earning the title of Most Valuable Player (MVP) for three consecutive years. He also competed in various track and field events throughout New York State.
At the age of 18, he became the youngest person in the U.S. to earn a National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) stockbroker license. Shortly after, he transitioned into a full-time role as an Investment Associate at Smith Barney, a subsidiary of Citigroup.
